A little sea air, and Brighton all around you.

Brighton is my home

Brighton wedding photography.
A city with a feeling like few others.

Brighton is my home, and I love how much life there is here. The sea at the end of the street, the colour, the little places you find by wandering. There is a lovely freedom to celebrate in your own way, whether that means a few favourite people at the Town Hall or a whole room coming together for the evening.

I chose Brighton for my own small wedding, with drinks, our ceremony and a walk by the sea all becoming part of the day. That is what I want your photographs to hold on to: the people you love, the places you have chosen and the feeling of being there together.

A little day in the city.

Brighton Town Hall puts you close to the Lanes, with their narrow streets and places to slip away for a few photographs. Hotel du Vin offers another way to gather in the heart of things, while the Royal Pavilion brings a wonderfully different sense of occasion.

There is so much character within a small part of Brighton. The Town Hall’s stone columns, a narrow lane opening into a busy square, people sitting outside with a drink. I want the photographs to include some of that life. We can find a quieter corner for portraits, then let the walk back become part of the story too.

The sea, never far away.

A celebration at The Grand Brighton, a ceremony at the Bandstand, or a few quiet minutes on the beach. I love the thought of that little pause together, with the sea behind you and everyone waiting to welcome you back.

Brighton and Hove give you different ways to bring the coast into your photographs: the energy around the Palace Pier, the open promenade or the colour of Hove’s beach huts. We will choose somewhere that makes sense for your venue and the weather. Sometimes a few minutes close by are all you need to make something beautiful.

A little more countryside.

Just beyond the city, Stanmer House and Pangdean Old Barn offer a different setting for the day. Gardens, parkland and the South Downs bring Brighton weddings close to the countryside, too.

I love having that choice so close to home. You might want a city ceremony and a reception surrounded by greenery, or one place where everyone can settle in for the day. For the photographs, we can make the most of the setting you have chosen, from a quiet garden portrait to the moment your guests gather outside.

What draws me to weddings here is that they can be so personal. Brighton can be elegant, playful, intimate or full of noise and dancing. You can bring together the parts of the city you love and make a day that feels familiar and special at the same time.

As your Brighton wedding photographer, I will help you find the light and the places that fit your plans, with gentle guidance when you need it. Beautiful portraits, the laughter in between, and time to enjoy the celebration you have made your own.

Sussex has my heart, too

Sussex wedding photography.
So many beautiful ways to celebrate.

I have spent so much time all over Sussex, and there is still something that makes me pause. A village tucked into the Downs, the gardens of an old house, a glimpse of the sea at the end of a street. It is a place I feel a real connection to, and somewhere I love to photograph weddings.

What makes Sussex so special is the choice. You can have the elegance of a country house, a small ceremony in a town you love or a barn with everyone gathered for dinner. The weddings I have photographed here have been stunning, and their surroundings have been such a beautiful part of the story. But it is always the people who make each place feel different.

A beautiful setting, and a moment for the two of you.

Old towns, and days full of character.

Lewes and Arundel are two places that come to mind straight away. Historic streets, beautiful buildings and a feeling of being somewhere with a story of its own. Pelham House brings a townhouse and garden setting into the heart of Lewes; Arundel offers a different atmosphere, with its hills, river and castle rising above the town.

For Vira and David, Sussex meant Horsted Place, Lewes Register Office and St Mary’s Church in Newick. For Edward and Emily, it was Arundel, with their two dogs part of the celebration. I love seeing how couples bring their own lives into these places. The photographs become about much more than a beautiful backdrop.

Country houses, gardens and a little grandeur.

There is something wonderful about arriving at a house that feels set apart from everyday life. Horsted Place near Uckfield, South Lodge near Horsham and Goodwood House near Chichester each offer a different version of that feeling. Old architecture, generous surroundings and somewhere to gather the people you love.

As a photographer, I am drawn to the smaller possibilities within those settings: light falling through a window, a doorway that frames you beautifully or a quiet part of the garden. You do not need to disappear for hours to make the most of a remarkable place. A few thoughtfully chosen moments can be enough.

The Downs, the coast, and room to enjoy it.

Around Worthing and Chichester, the countryside offers another kind of celebration. Cissbury Barns near Findon and Upwaltham Barns in the South Downs are places to explore if you are drawn to a rural setting. Along the coast, from Worthing to Eastbourne, the sea brings its own light and atmosphere.

As your Sussex wedding photographer, I will help you make room for photographs that belong to your day. We will think about the light, the journey between your venues and a little time together, while leaving space for the conversations, laughter and moments you cannot plan. Beautiful photographs, and a wedding you have had time to enjoy.
