Start with what you would miss.
Would you like photographs of getting ready, or do you mainly want the ceremony and portraits afterwards? Are speeches essential? Does the first dance feel like the beginning of the evening you want remembered? Write down the moments before choosing a number of hours.
Then look at when those moments happen. A long gap between a ceremony and an evening reception still affects the coverage needed to photograph both.
Shorter coverage needs a focused plan.
My current Registration collection offers up to three hours. It can be a starting point for a smaller set of priorities, but the schedule matters more than the label. We need to allow for arrivals, the ceremony, any confetti, key groups and portraits rather than assume all of them fit automatically.
If you are considering a Brighton Town Hall ceremony and another portrait location, include the time spent moving between them. Short coverage works best when we agree what matters most.

More of the day means more of the story.
The current Half day collection offers up to six hours and Whole day up to eleven. Additional time may let you include more preparation, both sides of the morning where practical, speeches or evening moments. It depends on the times you have booked, not a fixed formula.
Compare the start and finish with your schedule. If golden hour or the party matters to you, check that it falls within the coverage. If you are getting ready at different addresses, discuss how that can be photographed realistically.
Confirm the collection before booking.
Use the wedding prices page for current prices and inclusions. During our conversation, we can discuss the venue, travel, priorities and anything extra you are considering. Do not rely on an example timeline as a promise of what a particular booking includes.
The right coverage is the one that gives your important moments enough space. You do not need to add hours without a purpose, or squeeze a whole wedding into a booking that cannot hold it.
