For an intimate town hall or register-office wedding, think about the parts of the day you want to keep: arriving together or separately, the ceremony, congratulations outside, family groups and portraits of the two of you.

The Registration package includes up to three hours, with a pre-wedding consultation, edited photographs, an online gallery and a photobook. We can discuss whether that fits your plans or whether half-day coverage would give you the time you need.

Planning photographs around Brighton Town Hall

Start with your ceremony time and any instructions from the registrar. Photography permissions, room access and arrangements outside the building should be confirmed with the venue for your booking.

If you would like portraits around the Lanes or by the seafront, allow for the walk, your clothing and footwear, and the weather. You can keep the route short, choose a quieter moment and agree an alternative if the wind or rain changes your plans.

Share your reception address too, even for a small meal with family. That helps us plan where photography coverage starts and finishes. These are planning suggestions, not a promise of access to a particular location.

Can we book photography just for a small Brighton wedding?

Yes. The Registration package offers up to three hours. Send your date, ceremony time and the photographs you would like to include, and we can discuss coverage.

Can we include portraits by the sea?

Tell Kate what you have in mind. A seafront portrait walk needs time within your coverage and a weather alternative; the route is planned around your ceremony and reception.

Will you arrange the ceremony or venue booking?

Your ceremony and venue arrangements are made with the venue or registrar. Kate’s enquiry is for photography availability and coverage.
